The SCIGNE platform provides a scientific data management service. It is based on iRODS software and a distributed, highly-available infrastructure accessible through standard protocols.

Research data can be transparently replicated to partner sites on demand, automatically processed, and validated according to procedures described in a data management plan (DMP).
